Easy-spread Butter Roller

Project brief to design a product providing assistance to those with visual impairment. My aim was to find a way to make is easier for visually impaired people to spread butter on bread or toast.

I designed this product to fit comfortably into the users hand when in use, where the width of the product would be the same as the bread slice. Using the bread as a guide to roll the product roller and butter along onto the bread.

The screw top is used to push the butter block down onto the shaped roller which will scrape the edge of the butter rolling it onto the slice of bread
